This course is for new CPA's who are contemplating a job move either from the firm or within industry. In this course, I'm sharing my insights and expertise from my decades of work experience, most recently as a Recruiter specializing in Finance & Accounting professionals. I'll share my tips & tricks on how to best construct a job search strategy, how to prepare for the interview, and perform well during the interview itself. We will also cover more sensitive topics such as red flags, the offer process, and discussing compensation. The job market is competitive so the supplemental worksheets done in conjunction with the course will give you a competitive advantage to get that dream job you really want!

My career has involved a move from the firm to industry and was focused in Consumer Packaged Goods and the Pharma/Biotech industries in leadership roles. I made a career pivot into Recruiting and started my own boutique search firm; Maverick Consulting Group in 2015.
