This course provides students with an overview of the personal self-assessment tax return process for tax year 2019/2020. In the first part of the course students are going to learn how to calculate income tax on employment, self-employment, savings, dividends, as well as capital gain and inheritance tax. In the second part of the course students are going to see a practical application of the concepts covered in the first part. For two different scenarios tax would be calculated and for one of them a tax return would be prepared.
