His experience includes seven years as director of a large practice, three as director of a startup modular housing company and for the last 9 years leading project delivery at Hawkins\Brown, where he continues to work, alongside the consultancy business. His work includes contract negotiation and price discrimination advice alongside facilitating client feedback based on research he led for RIBA into ‘what clients want’. He also develops management systems, standard forms, and procedures for maintaining error-free, efficient project management and provides guidance on the requirements of the Building Safety Act. Nigel is the author of a number of books for RIBA and lectures on professional practice at several schools of architecture.
