Understanding and Supporting Self-Regulation in Children is a practical course designed for educators, caregivers, and anyone working with young children. You will explore what self-regulation truly means and why it is critical to a child’s emotional and social development. This course offers clear, useful strategies to help children develop self-regulation skills in everyday settings.
You’ll also learn to distinguish between misbehavior and stress behavior—an essential difference that changes how we respond to children’s actions. With the right knowledge and tools, you’ll be better equipped to support children’s needs, reduce challenging behavior, and foster stronger, more positive relationships.
